Welcome to the Public and Alumni Affairs Office (PAAO). We are the public relations arm and communication center of the University of Santo Tomas . It is our responsibility to organize and coordinate programs and projects, we recognize and honor Outstanding Thomasians, and promote physical resources all of which embody UST's character as a Catholic institution of higher learning committed to the three-fold task of instruction, research and community service. We also spearhead the packaging of relevant information into functional and interesting media forms for our internal and external publics.

Our prime functions are divided into:

We, likewise, offer the following services:

1. Assistance in the dissemination of information through the press and various media
2. Publication of PR tools like brochures, newsletters, posters, and other informational materials
3. Coordination of major University activities, both of local and international scope
4. Coordination of alumni activities like homecomings and awarding ceremonies.
5. Conceptualization of audio-visual presentations
6. Establishment of correspondence with cultural, professional and other academic agencies
7. Guided UST Tour
8. Job fairs and Career Seminars
9. Issuance of Alumni Card
10. Issuance of Temporary Car Pass for Alumni, Special Guests and Visitors
11. Keeping track of UST's public presence through tri-media (television, radio, and print)

Public Affairs

Our public relations function is a continuous far-reaching attempt at advocating the ideals of Thomasian Education in UST. Apart from our information dissemination campaigns, we also strive to develop, and in many cases, strengthen partnership with local and foreign institutions through the production and exchange of publications.

Alumni

We take pride in the fact that Thomasian alumni have carved significant niches in various fields of endeavors. They have become essential members of the human resource of industries here and abroad.
